About Us

Renewing the call to follow Jesus—right where we are on campus and everywhere we’re sent beyond it.

Young adults make big decisions about life, relationships, and faith every day. In the middle of classes, work, and the rush of life, we believe a meaningful life with Jesus is possible right now. When students take Him seriously, it creates a community marked by passion, joy, and hope. That’s the heart of Renew—calling college students to trust and follow Jesus on campus and into the world, building lives rooted in Scripture, truth, and the love of God.

Grayson Taylor

Director

Grayson and his wife Amanda serve with Renew College Ministry. Their story with Renew began during their time at Arkansas Tech University, where they both developed a deep passion for reaching college students. As Tech alumni, they carry a strong heart for the campus and the students who call it home.

After graduation, Grayson and Amanda spent a few years in youth ministry before stepping back into their calling in campus ministry. Grayson holds a B.A. in Communications (2014) and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Harding School of Theology (2022). They have been married since 2015 and have one child, Shepherd.

Grayson says, “Renew has shaped my life in profound ways. It’s a joy and an honor to serve in campus ministry and invest in this formative season of students’ lives. I truly believe that if we reach students during these years, we can see the world changed by Christ.”

We believe…

We believe in God the Father, who created the heavens and the earth, making all human beings as divine image-bearers. We have violated the image of God in others and in ourselves and have abandoned our role within creation. In response, God chose Israel to be a blessing and a light to all peoples in order to renew creation.

We believe in God the Son, Jesus the Messiah, fully human and fully God, who, baptized in water and anointed by the Spirit, proclaimed the reign of God—preaching good news to the poor and brokenhearted, announcing forgiveness by calling all to repent and believe the good news, and commissioning His followers to make disciples, baptizing them into communion with the Father, Son, and Spirit, and teaching them to embrace this new way of life. Jesus was crucified, giving His life for the sin of the world. God raised Jesus from the dead, breaking the power of sin and evil, delivering us from death to eternal life, and inaugurating new creation. God has enthroned Jesus as Lord of all creation.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit, the giver and renewer of life, whom the Father, through the Son, poured out upon us, enabling us to love God and neighbor and binding us together with all believers in the Church, the Body of Christ, as together we give thanks at the table of the Lord. The Spirit spoke through the prophets and apostles and inspired Scripture to equip us for every good work. The Spirit empowers us to witness to Christ as Lord and Savior, to work for justice and peace, and to live holy and joyful lives.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, we await God’s new heaven and new earth, and we pray, “Come, Lord Jesus.”
